Re: distribution list members cannot be seen

Domain distribution groups a full of problems. An expansion server must be
designated in the domain the list resides and any communication or expansion
issues will cause a null (blank) set to be returned. Try converting domain
distribution groups to universal groups; it's a best practice. The
membership of a universal group is stored in the GC partition of every GC so
you avoid the whole expansion problem; it's readable from any domain. Do
note the the partition is only writable from the domain in which the object
resides.

Exchange 2003 sp2 - for some reason, now, I cannot see the members of any
distribution lists - these are global/distribution lists and have local
users. I can't find any information on how to resolve this. If I add the
DL to an email, most of them cannot expand as well. Not sure what
happened, but I need to get the member visibility back - any suggestions
will be greatly appreciated. thank you
