Re: Out of Office Assisatnt Forwarding

What you did under Global Settings allows email to be forwarded to internet
recipients automatically. You still need to configure invididual recipients
to forward to internet addresses (by creating Contacts for those addresses
first, and changing Delivery Options to forward to Contacts).

Unfortunately, auto-forwarding cannot be enabled per-recipient - the Global
Settings config has to allow it.

I figured out how to enable this by clicking the Out Of Office option under
the advanced tab in Internet Message formates. This is a global setting.
Is
it possible to the same thing but on a smallwer scale such as for a few
users.

Mentioning the version of Exchange you're on helps a lot when answering
these questions.
Did you set up an OOF in Outlook - which simply auto-replies to senders
about your out of office status - or setup up forwarding in AD Users &
Comuters | recipient properties | Exchange General tab | Delivery
Options?

(You would need to create a Contact for the external address to be able
to
forward to it... ).
