No, you won't have to repeat this exercise every year. :)
The updated timezone information on client computers takes cares of
Outlook-created stuff going forward. For server-created stuff (think OWA
users, Blackberry/Windows Mobile users, et al) updating the server timezone
and applying the Exchange CDO patch does it.

So, I understand that I need to update my Exchange Server OS, update the
CDO on Exchange and my BES server, updates the OS on my clients, and run
the Exchange Calendar tool to alter meetings in the affected period.
Forgetting about the calendar items I already have created in the affected
time period, which of these actions, if any, cause calendar items created
AFTER the action has taken place to be "EDST aware"? In other words,
which of these changes ensures that I won't have problems with March 15th
appointments in 2008, and 2009, and 2010...?
I am assuming I don't have to keep running the update tool for Exchange
every year for the rest of my life?
If someone can clear this up for me it would really help a lot.
Thanks!
E2K3 SP2 on W2K3 SP1 with Outlook 2000 clients running on W2K SP4 and XP
SP2.
