Re: DST patch Errors

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

As a test, can the account you're using perform an exmerge export from
several of the mailboxes?

Is there a list of errors (and fixes) for the DST patches? We've spent
hours with the support documents (914387 and the msexchangeteam blog "Step
by step...") and the patches but continue to generate errors on our
production systems. Yes: we have an account with full and send as rights
to all 4000 mailboxes; the clients all the appropriate desktop patch; the
servers are all patched; Exchange 2003 Enterprise servers are all patched.
Active Directory 2003, native, all servers run Windows 2003 std or ent,
fully patched, Exchange 2003 Ent fully patched, on a cluster with front
end servers.

The appropriate log entries are:
Logfile opened as:msextmz.log
Reading Configuration.
Command Line:C:\DST\tzmove.exe /q
ServerDN:/o=xyz/ou=container/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=Esche

Spawned worker process as pid - 664.
Success Event not found in Application log, treating as failure.

0x80004005
Error Processing Mailbox:/o=xyz/ou=container//CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=BPADM -

As far as i can tell, this is most likely a file not found error. If
anyone has a clue as to where MS may have hidden clues for errors returned
by the MS Exch DST routines, we would be eternally grateful!
Thanks for any support you can give!
Bill
