1. what's the destination of the mail being queued
2. what does the SMTP log tell you about the return codes from the
destination servers
3. it's likely the mail is being blocked because reverse DNS doesn't match
or SPF doesn't allow your server to send or some other anti-spam mechanism
that you're falling prey to due to the strange setup you have.

I run SBS 2003 at my business. I am a WISP with a few dozen AP's throughout
the US using gateways that forward email but are not listed domains. Do to
more and more email services accepting email from only listed domains I
needed to find a solution. I listed the IP's of the gateways in the "
Default
SMTP Vitual Server Properties>Relay resrictions" so all email handled
through
the gateways (not a great amount) are relayed through our server so domain
lookup validates on receiving server. All seemed good until I realized
that I
was gathering email in the Queue. Why is this and what can be done to fix
it?
Is there more configuration I need to do to allow proper relaying? It
appears
that many are going through normally.
