Re: Exchange 5.5 Stander 16 GB limit Reached

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Yes we had them clean up, or we asked them everyday for 2 weeks, and some
did... Just we have a lot of CAD drawings coming in...

At this point even what we deleted didn't matter, it filled up within
hours...

The last time we checked white space it was something like 75 megs... That
quickly filled after we ran it...

We can't even get into mailboxes to clean out right now or I would, It's
like we have to start from scratch. I have mailboxes of 300+ megs that I can
get rid of once I can get in...

The problem is I inherited this exchange server in October, and the problem
came with it... Thing is we are a 2 shift operation and I can only usually
run utils over night.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you have the users actually clean their mailboxes before performing
eseutil? How much whitespace is available by viewing Event ID 1221?

My Private Information Store has reached the 16 GB limit, even after
running
the eseutil /d I'm still at 16 GB... I have no idea what to do...

We are running an NT 4.0 Server. None of the services can start.

I guess I could upgrade to 5.5 Enterprise, but I have no idea where to get
it frim.

I can't upgrade to Exchange 2003 Enterprise, as we don't have any w2k3
servers that we can use...

I have a backup of our database from 2 nights ago before it got too large,
It's in Backup Exec 8.6...

We run a full backup once a week, and differentials all week. If I restore
the Information Store from our full backup and the information store from
our
differential on thursday I should be ok right?

Do I have to restore all the mailboxes as well?

any help is GREATLY Appreciated.
