Creating child domain Exchange Server

Hello!
We are a branch office of a large organization, and a child domain
(branch.abc.org) in AD, with a different subnet 192.168.25.0/24. All
email accounts reside at the top level (username@xxxxxxx) Currently,
our corporate office, with an AD domain of (corp.abc.org) houses our
exchange accounts on a exchange farm (192.168.1.0/24). For fail over
and bandwidth reasons, we are researching the possibility of getting
an exchange server for the branch. Since I am not an exchange expert,
here are the questions i am posing:
1. With an exchange server at the branch...which domain will it join?
2. Will branch users still be able to keep their top level (@abc.org)
email address?
3. Will the branch.abc.org DOMAIN admin be able to administer the
machine and mail store(s)?
4. Is the branch exchange server considered part of the exist
corporate farm?
I know the question is complex, but any assistance you can provide is
appreciated!!!!
Cheers,
Geoff
