I have a Virtual Server created with TLS configured and the Certificate
installed as well. I've created a SMTP Connector for the new client and
pointed the bridgehead to the new TLS SMTP VS. Now... According to this
book I have, the new TLS VS I created needed its own IP address. So I
created one. (192.168.10.100) The default SMTP is 192.168.10.7.
Now... I have to tell my firewall this guy exist, and I'm pretty sure I
don't need the ISP to setup a seperate MX record, but I could be wrong.
Are you trying to 1) force TLS connections for both inbound and
outbound, or 2) do you want to force TLS for outbound and let the
sender use TLS if they want to?
If it's #2, you don't need another SMTP VS (and no additional IP
address), just another SMTP Connector.
