Re: Exchange 2k3 - Can't stop mailbox forwarding messages!

Thanks. She didn't have any delegates.
However. I have fixed the issue!

Turns out that she had run the 'Out of Office Assistant' and IN THERE had
specified rules to forward messages to the other users.

These didn't show up ANYWHERE but in the out of office assistanct properties
window.

Wonderful news. Thank's for your help too.

Check if the user has any delegates setup.
Another alternative would be to delete the user account (can still keep
the mailbox and reconnect to the user or export the mailbox using ExMerge
and then purge the mailbox).

Hi,
I have a client who has 20 staff.
One of their staff has now left.
That staff members account is forwarding a copy of her emails to two
other staff members.

I want to stop this forwarding now, but for the life of me i cannot find
where the forward rule is running to stop it.

There is no 'forward to' in the AD account properties in the exchange
general tab -> delivery options.
Have set up Outlook 2003 and set up exchange for her account, went in to
tools -> rules and alerts, but there was no forwarding rule there either.
So i tried extracting and wiping from exchange all of the rules on the
mailbox using exmerge via this utility.
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=262482

So now, I am stuck.
The account doesnt look to have forwarding anywhere. however. It still
forwards every message to two others.

Where Emma Norton is the account that keeps forwarding, and Emma Bakker
recieves the forwards.
Here is an example fo what the fwded message looks like:
