1. Move mailbox all the users to another store/server.
2. Dismount the damaged store
3. Delete the now empty edb and stm files.
If desired create and mount a new store and move mailbox the users back.
Caution should be taken to diagnose or correct underlying storage problems
before doing this however.

Hello Friends,
we have exchange server 2003 sp2.
Their is a event ID 474 database page error -1018 came in on our exchange
server. It is running fine, but online defagmentation is stop in between
daily.
I try to repair this with trobleshoot tool available, it works find and at
the end it end abnormally giving me some kind of premission error on
folders,
I check those permission all over, every this is ok. We have exe files on
C
drive and .edb, .stm and log files on D drive.
I do not have full backup, so I am going to do repair database using
eseutil
and isinteg tools. This is first time i am using these tools. Can anyone
tell
me the steps to follow to do database repair using these tools. Also tell
me
about temp.edb file that created while doing repair.
