are you using the production netbackup server? how does the server know what
"client" you are trying to restore to if your virtual server has the same
name as your pdoduction machine?

Have virtualized MS Exchange 2003 Enterprise using VMWare ESX 3.0. We
also
use Veritas NetBackup to do our tape backups. Recently attempted restore
from
tape using the Virtual Exchange 2003 server. Configured with exact
structure
as production host and all security settings are appropriate. Performed
restoration from tape but failed. NetBackup errors with "cannot connect
to
socket". Has anyone tried this and if so, have you seen this error ?
