Hi,
Thank you for posting here.
I understand that you want to recover single mailbox from RSG. And
currently you get Cannot identify user with the MSExchMailboxGuid error.
Based on my research, if a mailbox is not connected to an Active Directory
user account, ExMerge cannot log on to the mailbox and extract data from
it. Although mailboxes in the recovery storage group are disconnected, they
are logically linked to mailboxes in the original database by the
msExchOrigMDB attribute and the mailbox GUIDs.
Here I would provide you with the general steps on how to recover an online
backup using NTBackup utility as below:
1. Start Exchange System Manager. Right click your Exchange server object
and click New -> Recovery Storage Group
2. Right-click the Recovery Storage Group that you created, and then click
"Add Database to Server" to add the mailbox store containing the mailbox
that you plan to recover data from.
3. On the Database tab, make sure the "This database can be overwritten by
a restore" check box is selected.
4. Make sure the mailbox store in the Recovery Storage Group is dismounted.
5. Start NTBackup utility. Click the Restore tab, and locate the .bkf file
you want to restore.
6. Expand this file, and make sure we only selected the "Log files" and
"Mailbox store" (do NOT select "Public folder stores") as we can only
restore mailbox store database to the Recovery Storage Group.
7. Click Start Restore. Type the server name in the Restore To box, and
then type the full path of the folder in the Temporary location for log and
patch files box. Click to select the "Last Backup Set" check box, and
follow the wizard to complete the restore.
8. After this, mount the mailbox store in the Recovery Storage Group and
use ExMerge to extract the recovered data.
For more information, please refer to the following Microsoft KB article.
It also provides detailed steps on how to recover data from offline
backups.

I hope the information above is helpful.
If you encounter any difficulty when implementing the procedure above, feel
free to let me know. I'm looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!
