Re: SMTP Queue Back Up After 8 Hours! Anyone Able to Explain?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Yeah...what OS is the receiving group running?

There have been instances of problems with ESMTP talking to other mail
servers. One way to test this would be to disable ESMTP, and just use SMTP
and see if that helps...

Thanks for the reply Betelgeuse,

Yeah, that went through our heads too. We have the latest drivers from HP
on that server dated March 9, 2006.

I think I'm going to recommend dissolving the Team, disable one of the
NICs,
and only use the remaining one for connectivity to test. Then switch the
NICs and see how that goes. If both still fail SMTP, we should focus more
on
Exchange; if SMTP works fine, we need to look more at the Team causing the
problem, and its role in the SMTP queue/smart host relationship.

Just to rule it out, do the NIC's have the latest driver version?

I have seen some weird stuff resolve by updating NIC drivers...
