Well, if you have firewall, have the firewall point all incoming SMTP
traffic to the new server's IP instead of the old Exchange 2000...
If you want to use diffrent IP on the Internet, well, then you need to
change the MX record...

Hello,
I have a exchange 2000 and exchange 2003 box and in the process of

know how i get the smtp on the exchange 2003 to start delivering
external
messages. I have made the proper changes on the firewall as the same as
the
exchange 2003 box
Using a SMTP connector? If so, change the bridgehead in the connector
properties to the new server.
