So tell us what you have in.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\BackupRestore\DLLPaths\Esebcli2
value, whether it points to correct file (mine points to "x:\Program
Files\Exchsrvr\bin\esebcli2.dll"), if the file is there (and not
damaged) and NTFS perms are set to allow access to both your account and
LOCAL SYSTEM account.

The command line does work, as do the scheduled backups that have been setup,
it seems that it is only not displaying in the ntbackup GUI?

Hi,--
I have been using ntbackup to backup my exchange 2003 servers until
yesterday. If I run ntbackup.exe on an exchange server I do not see the
options to backup exchange anymore as if exchange is not loaded on the
server.I do have full admin rights delegated on Exch2003 and am part of
domain and enterprise admin groups. can anyone help please to help me
identify where to check permission
(i checked the registry and NTbackup is pointing to the excahnge .dll to be
exchange aware)
thanking in advance
regards
