Re: User Locout Issue

Are the computers part of the domain?

If they are, the real question is why is Outlook prompting them for a
password?

Unless they are using OWA.

Normally, if the user is being authenticated by the Domain, Outlook
shouldn't ask for a password.
It should pass it logon credentials back to the Exchange server.

I would check to see if they have any saved or cached password on the local
machine.

Control Panel / User Accounts / Advanced / Manage Passwords

Check to see if they have their domain account in there, if so delete it.

Just a thought,

Paul

I have a really strang occuurance that has been happening ever since we
migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. Users will log onto the
network
without an issue. When they attempt to log onto outlook they will get
locked
out even wghen they are putting the proper password. Any idea what could
cause this unusal behavior and what I can do to get to the bottom of it.
