They gave us another email address to send to in their domain and that
message went through just fine. It's only the addresses with "/" in
them that we're experiencing problems with.

So you cant send an email from any account to that domain?
In that case, it may be because you are on a SPAM list, do not have
your DNS setup correctly, etc...
