You had the POP accounts get delivered to the .osts?

and export the .ost content to .psts first. With the
.pst you could use exmerge or Outlook to import the content to the
server mailbox and then create new .ost (offline or cached mode
files).
If you have already attempted to connect the .ost files to the
mailboxes, I think you may need 3rd party utilities to get the data
out.
I could be wrong, but I don't think you'll be able to just reconnect
the old .osts.
That's probably true.

Hi and thanks for your answer, but there is a problem with your
solution: the users do not have a PST! They are working directly
with the OST files since the day the Exchange Server went down. So
the most up to date database is the OST...

I would del *.ost
Set up their profiles anew - probably Outlook cached mode which will
create a new .ost
Then have them open the .pst files from their temporary POP3
accounts. Have them drag and drop whatever they need from the .pst
to the exchange mailbox.

Hi there,
After a brand new rebuild of an SBS 2003 server and a restore of a
1 week old Exchange database, how can I get my users OST files
(who are up to date -- the users worked with Outlook and a
temporary POP3 account for 1 week) to sync with the Exchange
database which is 1 week old? Should I just copy the OST file to the
Local Settings of the user
and laucnh Outlook?
Thanks for any help,
Ambroise
.
