Re: NDR 5.5.0 and Invalid recipient 5.1.1

Ben,
The only messages I am getting are the Configuration Event ID 9307 and
Directory Access Event ID 9302. I have chaked those sites for some insight on
the error messages, but no luck.
It does happen on either server within the cluster. It is almost like it is
sitting in the queue to be delivered, but yet can never find its way...

I'd say look it up on eventid.net (normally, that site is great for this),.
but they don't have much either.
Just a thought here, but does the same problem occur regardless of which
cluster node is active?

Having a smarthost on an SMTP Connector is ok. Having a Smarthost set on
the SMTP Virtual Server itself can cause problems.
Check out the logging options and see if that identifies anything.
Server
properties, Diagnostics Logging tab.

Yes we do, but we were getting these error messages before the smart
host
was
enabled on the SMTP. The connector is configured with both servers and
going
to the smart host.

Do you perhaps have a smarthost set on the SMTP VS of the cluster?
You can also crank up diagnostics logging on the cluster virtual
server
object in ESM - there should be some transport objects in there that
might
help identify what is going on.

The servers are in the same Admin Groups and the messgae tracking
states
the
following
SMTP Store Driver; Message submitted from Store
SMTP: Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
SMTP: started Message Submission to Advanced Queue
SMTP: Message Submitted to Categorizer
SMTP: Message Categorized and Queued for Remote Delivery
SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Messgage
SMTP: Non-Delivered Report (NDR) Generated
Thanks for your help.... Rob

What does message tracking show is happening with the message? Are
these
servers in different Admin groups?
