Hi,
Thanks for posting here.
From your post, I understand you deployed Exchange 2007 in yourorganization. Since Exchange 2007 doesn't release currently. Please
understand in this forum we only support Microsoft related products.
You can find support for Exchange 2007 Beta's and most beta products from
Microsoft Corporation at http://beta.microsoft.com
, which has special newsgroups to support unreleased products. These
newsgroups are the best way to obtain support before a product is released.
If you want a quick and direct communication with our support professional,
you can also call our phone support. You can find the phone numbers here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=cntactms&style=home
Regarding the particular issue, it's by design that OWA 2007 can access
only mailbox on Exchange 2007 (using /owa virtual directory) and we can use
/exchange virtual directory to access mailbox on early version of Exchange
server such as Exchange 2000 for back compatibility, but that's OWA 2000
instead of OWA 2007.
If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let me know.
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Chace Zhang (MSFT)

| Hello,
|
| In a lab with W2K3 R2 running Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2007 I'm trying
to
| get OWA up an running transparantly. OWA for mailboxes on the Exchange
2007
| work just fine but for mail boxes on Exchange 2000 it does not work. I've
| been setting url redirection on the IIS server of the Exhange 2007 server
| (CAS, HUB TS en Mailbox server roles) but I still have to deal with some
| errors
|
| "Outlook Web Access is not available for this mailbox because there is no
| Client Access Services (CAS) Server with the necessary configuration in
the
| Active Directory Site where the mailbox is stored. If the problem
continues,
| contact technical support for your organization."
|
| unless I type the url exactly correct (.../owa for an exch 2007 mailbox
or
| /exchange for a Exch 2000 mailbox)
|
| Any tips and pointers are welcome ...
|
| Cheers and thx
|
|
