Hi, folks:
Here's my setup: Company A running Exchange Server 2000, static IP,
ISP allows incoming SMTP (port 25); company B running Exchange Server
2003, dynamic IP, ISP blocks incoming SMTP.
Here's my problem: Company B's users have to use ISP's POP mail for
incoming mail, because external SMTP servers can't connect to the
Exchange Server on port 25. Outgoing SMTP isn't a problem, since I
just use the ISP's SMTP server as a smart host.
Here's what I want to do: Setup Exchange Server B listen for incoming
SMTP on a non-standard port, and setup Exchange Server A to relay mail
for *@companyb.com on the nonstandard port to Server B.
I've done the usual Googling, without success. Any help would be
appreciated.
They can still ditch POP, and it might be easier to check out
http://www.dyndns.com/services/mailhop/relay.html rather than dealing with
this on your Exchange box. It's not expensive and works fine.
