Once the policy takes afffect will it only delete the stuff from INBOX ro
also from the subfolders inside the INBOX. Because people have subfolders
in
INBOX too?

Advise please.

Thank you.

If you configure it to be e-mailed to an admin account, it will :-)

This would be a good time to simply hit the F1 key. There is nothing
shameful in reading the built-in help. I do it all the time.

You define the Administrator on the properties of the server, Mailbox
Management tab.

Thank you Ben for your response.

I see that, how do I access/read the report after it runs? Are it will
be
e-mailed to the admin account?

Advise Please.

Thanks,

Thank you Bharat for your resposnse.

I think I will test this one ....

- create a group and add members who shouldn't get the policy,
then use memberOf attribute (takes distinguishedName of
distribution/security group) to filter the Recipient Policy.

How do I Use the report only mode first to find out who will be
impacted?
Is there a tool I need to run to find out who will be impacted???

Advise further please.

Thank you.

- Alternatively you can use the homeMDB attribute to apply the
policy
to
recipients with mailboxes on a particular Store (or exclude
recipients
on
a
Store if you wish... ).
- Use the report only mode first to find out who will be impacted.

A new policy will be applied in production soon. I am testing in
a
lab
first.

Here it is .... all the mail messages older than 180 will be
permanently
deleted from INBOX, SENT ITEMS and DELETED items for all users
company
wide
except for the CEO, VPS etc.

I was thinking to create a seperate/new Mailbox store and move
the
big
wig
mailboxes to this new store and configure this new store not to
receive
the
new policy. How can I configure this new mailbox store so it
does
not
receive the new policy? Or is there any other way to achieve
this
goal?

Advise please.

Thank you.
