Problem with accounts

I have an exchange 2k3 server and have been running it for well over a year.
When I added a new user this week for some reason I keep getting this
strange error when setting up the email account in outlook.
ERROR:
The name could not be resolved. the name could not be matched to a name in
the address list.

I have checked the name several times and log on to OWA with no problems.
Is there a way to rebuild the address list?

TIA
