Recipient "xyz@xxxxxxxx" is also reachable with "xyz@xxxxxxxxxxxx" which
should be the preferred route. To force using the domain ..@xxxxxxxxxxxx
every mail my Exchange-Users sending to ..@xxxxxxxx the domain-part should be
replaced. Is there any possibility to do this (Like the canonical tabs in
Postfix). There are hundreds of recipients in several domains so it can not
be done by creating a "Contact" in ADS.
Right now, each of those users has a primary SMTP proxy address of
<user>@domA.net. You want to change that so they have a primary SMTP
proxy address of <user>@Doma.abc.org.
Yes
When they send mail, the "From:"no, when, for example, i send mail to <user>@domA.net. The Haeder looks like
address should be <user>@Doma.abc.org.
that:
"From:dirk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
"To:<user>@domA.net"
.....
it should change to:
"From:dirk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
"To:<user>@Doma.abc.org"
....
I introduced a Connector which sends all "*.abc.org" mail to the MTA in the
Corporate Network "<domX>.abc.org". All correct adressed mail to Doma.abc.org
or Domb.abc.org and so is already taking the right route. Rewriting the
internnet domain name of the domains which are also reachable over the
Corporate Network will solve the security wishes of my bosses :-)
I hope this example describes it better.
Sorry for my bad english (i´m german), perhaps i misunderstood you.
Thanks and regards Dirk
.
You want to continue receiving mail addressed to <user>@domA.net.
To do this, add the @Doma.abc.org to your Recipient Policy. Then make
that the primary SMTP address. Keep the original @domA.net as a
secondary SMTP address. When you complete the change, agree to let the
changes be applied to the AD object. Assuming you haven't assigned all
those addresses maually, and you haven't blocked the automatic
generation of e-mail addresses on the users, that should get you what
I think you're asking for.

Don't send mail to this address mailto:h.pott@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Or to these, either: mailto:h.pott@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@xxxxxxxxxxxxx mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
