Re: Email not reaching individul domain, but is reaching all others.

I do not get an NDR back. I have got a message stating that the
sending has been delayed but it does state that the message will still
be sent however it never does reach the recipient.

The strange thing is i have always been able to send to this domain,
its just recently that this has started to happen. There have been no
configuration changes from my side.

How would you suggest i get through my gateway?

My first thought would be that tracert is being blocked at your gateway -
hence you cannot tracert to any domain.

Do you get an NDR when sending to the problematic domain?

Whilst the other side can say "we receive mail from everyone else" you can
probably say "we are able to send mail to everyone else". We had the same
issue about 6 months ago - turned out to be a misconfiguration at the
receipients hosting company.

Hi Guys, please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I
am having a problem with sending emails to an individual domain. All
other domains i send to reach the recipients.

Now i know the first thing that people will say is that it must be
something on their end. Thats what i said too but, they too recieve
mail from everybody except us. The domain i am trying to sent to is
jacklinks.info and my domain is cms-mail.net

I have found out who hosts their domain and its a company called
all-inkl.com. I do a tracert from my SBS2003 server that has exchange
running on it.

First hop resolves my I.P Address.
All other 29 hops give a request time out.

The strange thing is if i do a tracert to another email doman it does
the same thing but i know that the recipient will recieve the mail if i
send it.

My questions are:

A) Why does tracert not work for any of the email domains i am trynig
to route to?

B) Why are my emails reaching all other domains except the
jacklinks.info domain?

Thanks you in advance for any help.

Kind Regards

Colin Sadler
