I believe it should work fine. Your FE server is Exchange 2003, yes? DC's
are also 2003? And BE server too?

If I test rpc over https, can I use the frontend server's public IP for
URL
and principal name in the exchange proxy settings of outlook profile
because
we could not retire old exchange 2000 server yet ?
