I have over 20 customers running SBS 2003 over ADSL connection and no
complaints. In fact, its very reliable. Now this for the USA, I have heard
of issues of telcos across the pond. If you feel strongly about getting
ADSL, contact some other customers of the ISP providing the DSL around the
area to see if they are satisfied with performance, uptime, support, etc.

Hi John,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I've checked all the POP3 related folders mentioned in the KB article.
Nothing there. I'll follow the troubleshooting steps in the article
tonight when nobody is using the computers, and get back to you. Thanks
very much for the KB article - it's really useful.
Yes, I've been thinking to host SMTP ourselves. But there's one thing I've
been worrying about. That is we're connecting to the Internet through
ADSL, and I was told that is not stable enough to host our own mail/web.
What do you reckon?
Thanks once again.

Have you checked the POP3 Incoming Mail Folder for the messages?

BTW: I would encourage dropping POP3 and hosting your own SMTP with
Exchange.

Dear Experts,
We've got a weird problem with Exchange server.
We are running Windows 2003 SBS. We have our email hosting company
somewhere in the states. Exchange uses POP3 connector to fetch emails
from the POP3 mailboxes.
Say we have two accounts, A and B. Our problem is A doesn't receive any
email from B. A can receive emails from anyone, and B can send emails to
anyone as well. Sending an email from B to A, I use webmail and found
that the email is received by A. However, after Exchange goes fetch it,
the email mysteriously disappear.
BTW, the problem just happened recently. It worked fine before.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks in advance!!
Lei
