Hello!
Ourdepartment just changed our e-mail account format from
Firstname(initial)+MI+Lastname to Firstname(initial)+Lastname. Ex.
JCDoe@xxxxxxxxxx to JDoe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx network account in AD needs to
bechanged too. How do I make the changes? Thank you.
Depends a little bit on if anyone has done any changes to AD. Check
your Recipient Policy to see if there is a specific syntax in there
for the address.
Either it's done via a change in the Exchange Alias field generator
that just "copies" itself to the email address in the recipient policy
or the Recipient Policy has been edited. It'll probably be
%1g%m%s@xxxxxxxxxx (or similar) You'll need to remove the %m from the
middle.
