Re: sending & receiving message to hotmail\gmail problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

That's not what he asked you to do.

Try to telnet on port 25 to THEIR server. In other words, from your
Exchange server, attempt to telnet to one of Gmail's MX records, and
manually submit a message.

Second, please clarify - can you or can you not receive messages from Yahoo,
GMail and Hotmail? Is it just sending that is a problem, or both sending
and receiving?

Also - what is the status of the queue? If you highlight the queue, it
should show you a status in the bottom of the pane.

hi to all,
We are running Exchange 2003 and lately, any email sending
to Hotmail and gmail has just gone in the SMTP out queue, while all
other
nessages out have been delivered. I am not able to receive mail
from hotmail, gmail and yahoo domain. We have configured SSL for both
HTTP
and SMTP server. Please help me to fix this problem.
