If you have access to your registry, you can disable cert checking on WM5.

as far as I know there is no solution at the moment to disable cert check
on WM5 at it was on PPC2003. The server is requesting for SSL and the
device is using SSL to connect to exchange.

How do you figure?

If you are requiring SSL on the FE server and you uncheck SSL on the
device, then it won't work at all.

Do you perhaps mean to disable certificate checking?

Uncheck the require SSL check box on the device. As long as require SSL
is
set on teh front end server (or whatever server is doing activesync),
then
the connection will still be encrypted.

Hi,
everyone I have WM5 device and th company have bought SSL certificate
from
third party. OWA works fine and recognizes certificate. I have
installed
certificate on the WM5 ipaq. But when I am trying to sync I am getting
error
0x80072f0d The security certificate on the server is invalid. Contact
your
Exchange Server administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on
the
server.
Can anyone point what is wrong ?

Thank you
