Re: Evts 8197 every 25 min and 9175 every minute

Thanks Ben. I've tried restarting the SA and then all Exch services
(stop/change startup to manual/reboot/start/change to automatic)
This server has only 1 info store. it's a new build and I am trying to get
it ready for prime time. Later in the week I will try a complete un/reinstall
as in kb833396. Any advice on that front would be appreciated.

It seems to me like the missing System Attendant mailbox would explain the

The other link I was going to post you've already read.

Have you tried restarting the System Attendant service? Do you just have 1
mailbox store? There is only 1 System Attendant mailbox per-server, so if
you have multiple mailbox stores, it may be on another one.

If you don't have a SA mailbox at all, you might consider calling PSS on
this one. Exchange normally takes care of automatically re-creating the SA
mailbox object if it is missing or has been deleted. If it isn't doing
that, then you may have a more serious problem.

After installing Exch2003 (used ADC to connect to 5.5) I get 8197 every 25
min and 9175 every minute.

Move Mailbox fails too with 9175, 9167 and 1008 errors.

After a reboot, I get 1005

http://blogs.technet.com/evand/archive/2004/12/21/329172.aspx describes my
problem and it says "The System Attendant mailbox is created when the
System
Attendant is created on a server. It is associated with the first mailbox
store created on a server."

I have no System Attendant objects anywhere but I do have
SystemMailbox{guid} user and mailbox.

I do have a SA service. Exchange acts normally except for these errors and
failure of Move mailbox.

I want to learn if the missing SA objects are the root of my problem and
how
I fix it.
I read KB918006 and those solutions did not seem to apply.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
