I need to keep the TLS option selected on the connector but not on the SMTP
Virtual server? That means internal traffic is not encrypted but anything
going outbound will be?

That's correct. If your SMTP Connector's "address space" is "*", and
you tell it to use TLS, then everything leaving your organization will
use TLS.

Anything that *wants* to use TLS to send you mail will be able to do
so because there's a cert installed on the virtual server. Anyone that
doesn't want to use TLS will also be allowed to send mail to you
because they aren't forced to use TLS.

Don't send mail to this address mailto:h.pott@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Or to these, either: mailto:h.pott@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@xxxxxxxxxxxxx mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
