Are you including the domain name in the credentials? That aspect is

All,
Please help this is really beginning to hurt my head!
I have a user, logged in to abc.com trying to access a mailbox on an
Exchange 2003 server, this server is in a domain xyz.com.
There are no trusts between the domains, however connectivity to this
server is fine, i.e. ping / nslookup / telnet.
When creating the Outlook profile it asks me for the username etc, I
therefore type in the credentials of a user on the xyz.com domain that
has mailbox access, however, it still wont connect, the server and
mailbox name will not resolve!
does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks in advance for your help!
