exchange showing old mailbox name

Hello,

I have a user who married recently and we updated her exchange 2003 (AD
2003 interim domain) user name/mail settings as appropriate. when
users send her an email, autosuggest in outlook displays her new name,
but also her old user id instead of her new user id as follows: User
Name <Old ID>". i have checked and updated all references that i could
find in user manager, but cannot update this.

here's what i've tried so far:
display name
user login name and user login name (pre 2000)
ccmail/ms/smtp/x400 references
simple display name
and reloading address book in outlook

any suggestions?
