Setup a replica of your domain controller on an isolated network, setup
Exchange 2003 in that network, and restore your existing database. Allow
Administrator to open all mailboxes. Open using Outlook, create a rule to
search through all messages for a particular string in that mailbox and move
it to a folder.

There has to be a way. If not, there should be. One of the biggest
issues
for an organization is trying to look at and retrieve data when something
happens and they need to. In our case, we have been ask by the court to
pull
out any information that was transmitted through email about a particular
Person that is currently sueing the organization. We have to be able to
provide that information to them by law.

there is no native way to do this, really...there are some third party
tools
that allow for this type of thing...Quest's Recovery Manager for Exchange
allows you to do this...and there are "vault" solutions that allow for
this
type of search, as well...

Hello,in
I have been looking for a way to do an administrative search of all
every mailbox in our Exchange 2003 Server. I have done some searchingdo
and
have not been able to get a definite answer as to the best/easiest way
to
a comprehensive Keyword search of every mailbox for all messages on the
server. The Keyword could be in the Subject or Body of the email. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
