Re: Exchange Virtual Server Issues

Yes the greyed actually happens when Forms based authentication is enabled.
Changes need to made directly within IIS.

This article explains the standard permissions:

I am looking at that information in my server's ESM and I see similar
grayed out fields. When I setup OWA, I went down to the Exchange website
under IIS and changed the settings in there.

Good Day all

I changed over my OWA installation to using form based authentication. So
I installed the SSL certificate and everything is working up to the point
of getting the login page. Now when I try to login using either the
domainName\userName or the userName@domainName method. I get an error
saying that I can't login and that I should check that my info is
correct.

Now I know that my info is correct but, here is what I think is the
problem. On the Access tab of any of the 5 branches under the Exchange
Virtual Server located under the HTTP Protocol of the ESM, all the
information in there is grayed out and with no information located in
them. This means that there is no option as to what method or which
domain should be checked for authentication.

I believe that this happened when I tried to stop the IIS service and the
Exchange Virtual Server at the same time, and it appeared that everything
hung.

Is there a way for me to reset the Access tabs so that I can select the
relevant information or is there a command that would refresh and sync it
again with whatever it needs to be synced to.

I cannot restart this server at this time so that is not an option.

Appreciate any help that can be given at this time.

Thanks
