What port is SSL setup for? If it's otther than 443 then this needs to be
specified in the URL.

Thanks Ben

Yes, basic auth is enabled on the exchange virtual direcotry in my IIS, I
did not notice this before.

Are you sure that basic auth is not enabled on the Exchange virtual
directory of your current FE server?

site requires SSL is only because you have ticked the box "require SSL".
Is
require SSL checked on your existing FE server? What about the box below
that to require 128-bit encryption? Is that also checked?

Have you looked at your IIS log files (windows/system32/logfiles/w3svc)
to
see what they say happens when you try to access the ssl site?

Thanks for responding.

Yes, I have checked this link too.

I tried basic authenticaiton too still no luck. I have noticed on the
FE
which is currently running fine with SSL enabled in production does not
have
the optioned selected Basic Authentication??

When I go http://IP/exchange page does not open and tells me this site
requires SSL which I see is a normal message.

Advise please.

What about this one:

So http://IP/exchange works when you remove the cert, right? Does
http
still work with the cert installed?

What authentication methods are you using on the Exchang vdir? You
need
to
have Basic auth enabled when you are doing SSL.

Thanks Ben fro your response.

Yes, I am tying HTTPS:/192.1.1.1/exchange and it is added to the
default
website.

We already have a FE in production and I am adding a new second FE
server
to
configure the NLB. I used the same certificate which is assigned
to
the
existing FE.

Please advise.

If you are not forcing SSL, then the certificate would not be
causing
that
issue for a non-ssl connection.

Are you trying to go to httpS://192.1.1.1/exchange?

How did you add the certificate? Was it added to the default web
site?

If I add SSL Certificate to the new FE Box and try to OWA site
http://192..1.1.1/exchange this comes up......

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web
site
might
be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust
your
browser
settings.

When I take out the SSL Certificate it works fine. I need to
get
it
going
with the SSL.

Please advise.

Thank you.
