Security groups & sharing inbox

SBS 2003 with Exch SP2; Outlook 2003 on clients.

I've got 5 users that need to see each others inbox. First I created a
Distribution Group (Sales) of those users and added it to permissions of
User1's inbox by choosing Sales from Global Address List.

Exchange then apparently changes the group from Distribution to Security and
I can no longer see the group in the GAL and thus cannot use the group in
the remaining user's permissions.

Am I going about this the wrong way? I want to avoid adding users
individually to their co-workers permissions.

Regards

Richard
