Messages that get delivered to the client's Outlook "Inbox" have already
gone through the IMF filter so it is not considered SPAM. If it is delivered
to the client's Junk email folder then it has surpassed the SCL rating. This
is when the client can review the UCE and determine if it is SPAM or not and
can tag it is Safe and add the sender to their safe senders list. Next time
the same sender sends an email it will override the SCL ratings and get
delivered to their Inbox. At least that is my understanding. Hope this all
helps.

I have not enabled IMF on our server yet because I have a couple of
questions. How does a message that is tagged as junk appear to the user in
the Outlook Junk Folder? Does it tag it somehow so that the user knows
that
it has gone through IMF? If the user has not enabled Junk Email scanning
on
their client and it delivers it to the Inbox, does it say that it's spam?
I
hope these questions make sense. I have no problem configuring IMF and
enabling it but I want to know how it will affect the user before I do
anything.
Thanks
Kathy
