Windows 2003 does not have Terminal Services Remote Administration mode.
When you install Terminal Services in Windows 2003, you are not given a
choice of how to configure it. It automatically installs in Application
mode (unlimited remote connections).
If you need to enable Remote Administration mode, you no longer need to
install Terminal Services. Simply go to the Computer properties, Remote
tab, and enable Remote connections. This functions the same way as Terminal
Services Remote Administration did, with the added benefit that with Windows
2003, you can actually TS to the Console as well, so you can have 3 remote
connections. So to switch to Remote Administration, enable the above, and
uninstall Terminal Services from the Windows Components.
Regarding your above issue, did you install Exchange via a Terminal Services
session? If so, when you remove Terminal Services (the only option here, as
it otherwise requires a Terminal Services Licensing server and TS CAL's to
be added), it is possible there may be issues with Exchange that require a
reinstall, but if it comes down to that, reinstalling Exchange is very
straightforward.

Hi, I installed a W2k3 Server, made it a Domain Controller, later
installed
Exch 2003 on it and then enabled TSApp(Terminal Services in Application
mode)
now I want to roll it back to Remote administration mode, if I do that
will
my application(Exch 2003) work normally.
Thanks,
Srini
