Re: OWA Login Problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

You should be using the Netbios domain name or the UPN not what you have
been using, eg

'prosoft-eng\username'

OR

username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Nue

I built a new Win2003/Exchange2003 server and applied all the patches. I
moved my mailbox to it. I can access it with Outlook but not OWA, this
happens with any mailbox that I move. I believe the problem is somewhere
in
IIS but everything looks right. Here's the Event generated by the failed
login attempt:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: W3SVC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 100
Date: 3/16/2006
Time: 7:38:36 AM
User: N/A
Computer: PROSOFT-HQ-EXFE
Description:
The server was unable to logon the Windows NT account
'prosoft-eng.com\username' due to the following error:
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. The data is the error
code.
