Re: Remote Control Tab on User Accounts in exchange 2003

First of all the Remote Control option you are referring to in ADUC is only
for "Allowing" that person to be able to do remote sessions either through a
Terminal session, RDC or some other remote option such as Citrix. To naswer
your next question is a bit confusing.

"lets say you had a mailbox at your company abc and i had emails that
forwarded there and you replied to those emails how can I see what your
response was to the emails forwarded to you?"
If you forward me your emails you can also have the option to have those
emails delivered to your Exchange mailbox also. When I reply back you will
get the reply of course. Now if these email are not from you you can also
create a mail enabled Distribution List and add myself and yourself to this
group. So when I get a forwarded email and reply all you will get the reply
also. However you will need to create a mail enabled contact for me in your
domain in order for me to receive emails.
Giving you rights to another persons mailbox is probably not an option for
you.

it gives me the option to remotely control or observe a user's session.
What
I want to do is be able to monitor a users access to an email box not in
my
domain and not on my network at all. Sounds strange but I was wondering
if
lets say you had a mailbox at your company abc and i had emails that
forwarded there and you replied to those emails how can I see what your
response was to the emails forwarded to you? the only answers I have come
up
with is a bcc /cc box where you would have to email me and the person to
whom
the email originally came from, having company abc's admin give me rights
to
the mailbox and logging in through owa or having someone there monitor the
responses. I was hoping there was a way to do something in exchange.
does
that make any sense? Thanks for your help

I believe you are referring to the Remote Control tab on the users
properties in ADUC. It is uesd for granting the user remote access. What
are
you trying to do here?

account
and
how do I use it. Researched it but can't find any answers. Thanks
