The Public Folder Store *is* there by default for every server installation.
Also, the Mailbox Store should *not* have a class of publicMDB. When I look
at my mailbox stores, they have an objectClass value of:
msExchMDB
msExchPrivateMDB
top
These same values show up under the StructuralObjectClass
When did this happen? What happens if you add those object classes to the
missing mailbox store?
Attributes don't normally just "disappear". Something had to delete them.

So I can't see store #2 in the SYstem Manager, Exchange 2003 SP2. I can
see
it in ADSIedit.msc and there is no value in the class column. The other
store, #1, has values of msexchPriveteMDB and ..publicMDB. If I right
click
and choose properties, it does nothing. There is a new "store" under
First
storeage group named: Public Folder Store (server name) that was not there
before.
