If this is SBS you'd probably do better asking your question in the
SBS newsgroup.
If your default web site is stopped, verify that the IIS Admin service
and the WWW Publishing service are running.
If SMTP isn't running, try starting it.
For SBS-specifics, like setting up firewalls and using proxies, you're
better off in the SBS newsgroup. Until the server and network are
functioning properly Exchange (an application that runs as a service)
has little chance of working properly.
