Let's be clear here. These 3rd party tools are NOT database/log file
maintenance tools. I.e., they don't *fix* things. What they do is allow
you to directly access databases (on disk, on tape, etc.) and export
information out of them into another location.
If you have corruption in your log files or databases, the native tools are
still the best, and calling Microsoft PSS would be an even better option.

Martin,
thanks for you quick response. I guess my question is: Does this tools
works also on logs file?. We were able reapply logs up to certain date
because there were corruption on logs files after that date.
TIA

Besides working on .edb and stm files do they also work on .log files?.
We've experience an Exchange 2003 disaster and we were only able to
replay to logs files up to a certain date. Because of that we ended up
lossing tow days worth of data that resides on logs files. Pls.
advice.
regards,

That's a good one. I have tried them all. Quest Recovery Manager is by
far the most feature rich. I would recommend it above all others.
