Re: Logging in taking too long

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

So I should reset one of the COMPUTER accounts, or one of the USER accounts.

Thank you very much

Sounds like there are problems with those computer accounts. I'd try
resetting one of the affected computer accounts, or possibly remove/re-add
it to the domain.

Also, check the time on the server vs. workstation. Make sure they are in
sync.

Have you checked event logs on both the client and the server? There has
to
be something in there in terms of errors/warnings. Check them and report
back what you find.

Why do SOME users' computers on my network take an unusual amount of
time
to
log onto the network? I'm talking 15-20 min long! Not all of them
too!
This all started when we brought our server to our Austin office, due
to
Hurricane Rita, and brought it back to the gulf coast. When we brought
it
to
Austin, we had to change settings (don't know what settings); then once
we
came back... there are some users who take forever to get on the
server.
Please help.

Thank you,
