Why and how would a mailbox store become dismounted on its own? And when I
look at the stores none of them appear to be dismounted. But restarting the
system attendant, information store and the MTA stacks makes everything work
again and the 9175 goes away.
I entered my case with microsoft as critical when I opened it, I'm not sure
that I can escalate it further than critical but I have contacted them and
expressed my concern.
Yes the 8270 is from the MSExchangeAL

If you have an open PSS support case, and they aren't making any headway,
you need to call back in and get it escalated. Having a support issue open
for 2 weeks without any progress isn't normal.
What are the sources of the other events? 8270 -is that from the
MSExchangeAL?

I have reproduced the 9175 error on my test exchange server by dismounting
the information store where the system attendant and system mailbox
resides.
I have installed SP1 for Windows 2003 and Exchanged 2003 SP@ on my test
exchange server in anticipation of adding it to my real exchange server.
But
any additional information would be helpful
