The answer is correct. When you setup a contact you have to select an
Exchange alias and this will cause the RUS to stamp the email addresses onto
this object. However, if you setup an external email address this will be
listed as the primary address. You could certainly add multiple addresses to
the contact object.

Am studying towards my 284 exam and am confused as i thought i understood
the uses of contacts but the below has thrown me.
I thought you must not use contacts for internal users as the messages
bounce
when setting up the contact does it matter which mail address you use "do
you have to use the comany.com to list it in ad so it delivers inbound
mail"
answer states use two mail addresses in contact if i add 10 addresses to
the contact will they all receive a copy of the message sent to
brian@xxxxxxxxxxx automatically.
QUESTION: your company subcontracts a consultant named brian to develop
a new project. brian works from his private office and he has an internet
based email address Brian@xxxxxxx, that is provided by his isp. after the
project is completed brian must respond to technical support incidents
that are reported by your companys customers. company management does not
want the customers to know brians internet mail address. the customers
should address their mail messages with technical support incidents to an
email address brian@xxxxxxxxxxxx brian should not be allowed to access any
resources on your companys network. you must accomplish this task with the
least amount of administrative effort.
ANSWER: Create a mail-enabled contact object named brian. specify two
smtp addresses for the contact: brian@xxxxxxxxxxx and brian@xxxxxxx
Thanks for any help with these
