Re: Re-enabling OWA

I wouldn't think so, but you definitely didn't need to uninstall Exchange.
The typical procedure is:

1. Uninstall IIS from Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components.
2. Install IIS from same location.
3. Re-install Exchange - this should re-create (if missing) any OWA-related
virtual directories.
4. Re-apply Exchange Service Pack.

Anyways, glad to hear that Andy's method worked.

Thank you all for your feedsback. Sorry I was gone for a few days there...
Andys solution using the adsutil command worked wonders. Before I knew
about
htat I had already tried uninstalling Eschange and IIS then
reinstalling...
no luck :-\ ... does windows store previous settings?

Again thank you all.

Honestly?

I'd think the easiest solution would be to simply reinstall Exchange and
then re-apply Service Packs.

You might be able to re-create the virtual directories without doing so,
but
I'd wager it will take longer to do.

Absolute worst-case, you can remove IIS from Windows Components, then
reinstall it, then reinstall Exchange. 30 minutes Tops.

Don't ask how... but I managed to delete the default website on the
Exchange
2003 server and along with it the virtual directories... I checked
technet
for some time and can't seem to find how to fix this... anyone know?
