Remember exactly how that feels if you've done a bulk import and now must
mail-enable those! I was able to write a script to mail-enable
existing/imported contacts but can't seem to locate it.
This is from an older script written to import contacts from a spread***-
don't quite remember if ALL of these were required to produce the
mail-enabled contacts...
"displayName"
"mailNickname"
"mail"
"mAPIRecipient","FALSE"
"targetAddress"
"systemFlags", 1610612736
"legacyExchangeDN"
"internetEncoding", "1310720" *this can probably be skipped*
Also check script in Exchange 2003 Cookbook (Paul Robichaux)
http://www.exchangecookbook.com/files/05-11-create-contact.txt
Finally, you can also use the mailenable method on a recipient.

I have imported several thousand contacts into AD for Exchange (Windows
Server 2003, Exchange 2003) using CSVDE. I imported many categories,
name,
mail, objectClass, DN, etc. I must have missed some crucial category or
step, though, because after the import I had to go to each contact in ADUC
and click "Exchange Tasks" and set up Exchange mail settings. I didn't
have
to enter any information there -- I just clicked through the screens
accepting the defaults that showed the correct user name, e-mail address,
etc. Does anyone know what I left out? Thanks very much in advance.
